Wednesday 8th March Arrival day
Late afternoon we go for a 16km (300m ascent) short spin out. This short loop from the port is a wonderful insight of what is to come.
It provides the guests with an early opportunity to test their legs on a short 4km climb and visit one of Mallorca’s prettiest villages.
3 Full Cycling Days
Three wonderful days of cycling in the Tramuntana mountains. Daily averages of between 85-120km, with ascents of between 1500-2500m.
The cycling is ideal for those who are reasonably fit & experienced, have recently caught the road biking bug, or are training for a hilly sportive.
Sunday 12th March
A quick morning 45km ride up to Valldemossa, before heading back to pack the bikes and transfer to the airport.
Too many trips have great cycling but a mediocre hotel and food. Not this trip!
We will be based in the the scenic natural harbour of Port de Soller. The cycling is more exciting and the buzz around the area gives you an authentic Mallorcan experience - the true Mallorca. With its fish restaurants, cafes, sandy beach and friendly atmosphere the port has been described as the ideal backdrop to an Agatha Christie novel.
“This is truly the best hotel I have ever stayed in. A beautiful hotel in a beautiful location” Tripadvisor
Originally built in 1954, this stylish boutique hotel was refurbished by Swedish owners Mikael and Johanna Landstrom in 2006 and is situated right at the water’s edge - just a pedestrianised walkway between you and the sea.
Relaxing in the infinity pool on the top terrace, overlooking the entire port, is the perfect way to unwind after a busy day in the saddle. The spa area creates a tranquil environment, allowing you to switch off in the steam or sauna rooms, float in the indoor pool or (if you're really determined) burn off some more calories in the gym.
The library, music room, lounge & bar areas all provide the perfect areas to get away and recharge the batteries, or socialise with your hosts and fellow guests.
All rooms are priced for single occupancy, so you can be sure of a restful night's sleep.
There is a secure bike storage area at the hotel, on the sea front, capable of storing 70 bikes.
Each morning the group will pass the beautiful old town of Soller. The backdrop of historic buildings, citrus orchards and the imposing valley walls makes for a perfect way to start the ride.

"The reason I set up Bespoke is because I so fell in love with cycling I wanted to do it all the time! And the reason we all love cycling is to experience (again and again) the magical sensations of being on a great ride, in stunning scenery with the sun on your back. There is nothing to beat that sensory overload.
Mallorca is one of my favourite places to cycle – I have spent thousands of km’s riding on these magical roads, and I cannot wait to go back there in March."
Bespoke Cycling will look after your every need, just as you would expect in our stores.
Guests will be guided around each riding day by our staff and be looked after both on and off the bike. With trailing vehicle support and skilled mechanics help will be there whenever you need it." - Barry Scott, Founder - Bespoke Cycling
We've aimed to create a fantastic trip at a very compelling price:
14 guest riders in 1 group, plus guides and support vehicle.
We have a team of people who live on the island and are experienced in delivering high end cycling events.
We provide day bag service in the support vehicle. The vehicle will also contain mechanic's tools, spare clincher wheels, first aid kits, water, sweets & fruit.
We are a talkative bunch! We give riding tips, talk about our experiences and how amazing the island is.
The Bespoke ride leader will ensure the safety of the group, set an even and manageable pace, and communicate directly with the support vehicle. The routes are structured to include features to enhance the riding for all participants. An locally-based event manager is there to deliver the best possible experience to you and maintain the highest standards.
